We're always on the lookout for more help, and there are a wide range of ways to get involved! Take a look at our volunteering page, or get in touch with us to find out more!
In addition to roles working with young people, or as a Trustee, there are also a number of key leadership roles that we're currently looking to fill. These positions would help support the group in more specifc ways and are shown below.
We're currently on the lookout for a Group Chair! The Chair leads the Trustee Board and works closely with our Group Lead Volunteer to ensure our group continues to run safely, legally and responsibly. Amongst other tasks, the person who takes on this role would objectively chair the Trustee Board meetings and the Annual General Meeting, set the meeting agenda and plan its schedule. They’ll make sure that all Trustees are properly trained and understand their own responsibilities, and lead the recruitment for new trustees.
Our Group is growing! We're in a very fortunate position of having four active sections that are in high demand. However, our programme is so popular that we now have a large waiting list in place, and the only way to address this is to open additional sections.
We have a great team of volunteers in place across our group, but to be able to open a new section, we're on the lookout for someone to lead and take on a coordinating role.
Squirrels is where we currently have the most demand, but there's opportunities for us to grow with our older age groups too. Use the link below to find out about leading a new Squirrel Drey or just get in touch to ask about playing a leadership role with any of our ages.
