We're a thriving Scout Group in the Barnsbury area of Islington. Giving Skills for Life to young people and developing them to be respectful and active members of their local, national and international communities.
Our Sections meet as follows:
Squirrels – Tuesday, 5pm to 6pm
Beavers – Tuesday, 6pm to 7pm (6pm to 7:30pm in the summer term)
Cubs – Tuesday, 6:30pm to 8pm
Scouts – Tuesday, 6:45pm to 8:45pm
Our Sections are run by a dedicated team of adult volunteers. They all have skills to share with the young people but, most importantly, are extremely enthusiastic about creating a safe and fun environment for young people to develop.

Group Lead Volunteer
Ethan Rose
The Group Lead Volunteer is responsible for making sure our Scout Group thrives and has the best systems in place to support adult volunteers and develop the Group. They work across our four sections to ensure that a challenging, exciting and balanced programme is offered to young people in the Scout Group, and provide support to all our leaders.
Ethan joined Scouting as a Beaver Scout and has been involved ever since! Since 2021 he has run our Scout Troop, taking them on adventures to the Jurassic Coast, Norfolk Broads and the New Forest!

The Group Chair leads our Board of Trustees, who collectively are responsble for ensuring we have good governance as a Scout Group.
The position of Group Chair is currently vacant, and we're on the look out for someone with strong leadership and communication skills to join the team and take on the role.

Our Board of Trustees
The Trustee Board is a team of volunteers who work together, as charity trustees, to make sure Scouts is run safely and legally. At the heart of their role is a focus on strategy, performance and assurance. Effective Trustee Board governance helps our volunteers deliver fantastic programmes that give young people skills for life.
